Traditional, high-quality beadwork

Creating designs to wear every day.

WILD at HEART Kenya

WILD at HEART Kenya creates beaded stories of magical Africa, to wear every day. Supporting women, supporting conservation: all the beadwork for our leather belts, dog collars and accessories are handcrafted by pastoralist artisans.

Testimonials

Your collars are the very best quality I've seen - I'm so excited to now have collars that look right for both my Ridgebacks. Thank you so very much, I just love them!

Ann, California

I bought one of your belts ages ago - such fantastic quality, I now have all of the different colours, and wear one every single day. They just go with everything.

David, London, UK

Since my two working spaniels have been wearing your collars, they've been in and out of mud, rivers, lakes, even the sea - and both collars still look perfect: thank you.

About WILD at HEART Kenya

How You'll Be Supporting Artisans

When you purchase a beaded design from us, you are directly supporting pastoralist women with income which they often wouldn't have any other way to access. Our artisans create the highest quality designs, which only become more beautiful the more they are worn.

How You'll Be Supporting Rescue Dogs

Every one of these collars sold helps a dog find their forever home. At WILD at HEART Kenya, we want our beadwork to impact people and
animals as far beyond the borders of Kenya as possible. Creating these beautiful beaded collars especially to support the work of the Wild at Heart Foundation means a great deal to us.

How You'll Be Supporting Wildlife

Many of our artisans are semi-nomadic pastoralists, and women who live in rural and remote areas, often alongside wildlife. With more income from beadwork, they can become less reliant on their livestock and fragile environment. Less livestock = more wildlife.
